Bill Zadeits, Publisher
Bill Zadeits, vice-president of Cherokee Publishing, is the publisher of Cary Magazine, the leading quality of life publication for Western Wake County. Bill joined Cherokee Publishing in 1996 and has worked in a variety of roles with the company. In addition to Cary Magazine, Bill also is the publisher of other Cherokee Publishing magazines including Triangle East Magazine, the quality of life publication for Eastern Wake and Johnston counties and Auto Remarketing NewsMagazine, a national automotive trade magazine.
Prior to joining Cherokee Publishing, Bill held various media positions including sports anchor for WECT-TV 6 in Wilmington, N.C., broadcast team member for The Tar Heel Sports Network, and the morning news and sports anchor for WCHL-AM in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Bill is a 1989 graduate of Appalachian State University where he got his start in the media doing radio broadcasts of ASU football and basketball games. Bill lives in Cary with his wife and three children.
