Their dads grew up going to school together at Cary High, and eventually became college suite mates. The two friends had no idea that one day their families would come together just like a love story.

Laura Frazier and Ed Goode were married June 23, 2007, at the historic China Grove Plantation near Oriental, N.C. The renovated plantation house was first built in 1803 and the faces the mouth of the scenic Neuse River. The wedding ceremony took place on the front lawn, overlooking the water, which provided a gentle, cooling breeze for the intimate gathering.
